Project - Fundació Fluidra

Under the slogan “Put a Pool in Your Life”, Fundació Fluidra has started a campaign to donate 10 above ground pools to voluntary sector entities and associations to give their users the chance to enjoy a dip during the hottest months of the year.

The proposal was one of the winning entries of Fluidra Day 2021, an initiative that invites all Fluidra Group employees to submit projects related to the solidarity swimming pool.

On this occasion, the pool model the Fundació plans to donate is a 384 x 884 cm Laghetto Pop 120-27 called POP! It is a groundbreaking model on the above ground pool market thanks to its bright colors, smooth round curves, and dynamic shape, together with the high-quality parts. The initiative aims to enable beneficiaries to use the pools during the warmer months and store them away over winter. Since the pools are distributed via the Fluidra professional channel, we can refer the winners to their closest pool installer to ensure the best in maintenance.

Voluntary sector entities and associations interested in winning a Pop pool are invited to write to Fundació Fluidra (hola@fundaciofluidra.org) explaining themselves and their purpose, and providing a report specifying how the pool would be used and the number of people it would benefit per year.

The Fundació’s board of trustees will select the entries that best meet the entity’s mission.

Starting this year, pool donations will become a permanent fixture at Fundació Fluidra, which will earmark part of its annual budget to helping ensure that the maximum number of people have access to a pool as a core support for their health, wellness and leisure.

Fundació Fluidra president Joan Planes i Vila thanked the workers on Fluidra Day, “whose suggestions help us extend the benefits of a pool to all”.
