Project - Fundació Fluidra

KAG25

KAG-25 is a project promoted and run by Fundació Fluidra in partnership with the Karang Agricultural School,an institution directed by the school Escola Pia through l’Association Éducation Solidaire Écoles Pies de l’Afrique de l’Ouest.

We give financial, technological and business support to it. The aim of KAG-25 is to turn a 25-hectare estate in south Senegal into a profitable market farm. On this farm, 2,000 girls, boys and young adults have received vocational agricultural training, which will give them food sovereignty and greater entrepreneurial and economic capacity.

We are working on the creation of a distribution center that will deliver farm produce to nearby markets.

KAG-25 is based in Ker Alioy Gueye, a town in the south of Senegal, on the border with the Gambia, in the Fatick Region, one of the areas with the highest rates of vulnerability that is extremely hard hit by poverty and famine.
