Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès (Vallès Symphony Orchestra)

The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès (OSV) is Catalonia’s busiest symphony orchestra, with more than 150 performances every season, around 170 community workshops and rehearsals open to different groups involved in more than 50 productions and other annual projects.

The OSV is the only symphony orchestra in Spain that has the status of a worker-owned limited company. It has been running for 32 years and has 53 permanent workers.

The OSV is a unique model of a community-minded social enterprise driven by sustainable and responsible criteria. Able to self-fund 75% of its total annual budget, the orchestra makes a living from the public, concerts, quality projects, and its commitments and partnerships with the public and private sectors.

Fundació Fluidra provides the OSV with financial support and business advice on the management of culture. Thanks to criteria of profitable, sustainable management, we are able to ensure its quality standards and duration over time.

Our partnership with the OSV is consistent with our commitment to culture that is particularly focused on promoting music as a way of educating people and giving them dignity, as well as on entrepreneurship and culture.
