Òpera de Catalunya

Fundació Òpera de Catalunya (FOC), under the presidency of Joan Planes in representation of Fundació Fluidra, was the result of four unique institutions joining forces that are based in Sabadell: l’Associació d’Amics de l’Òpera de Sabadell, l’Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, la Fundació Banc Sabadell and la Fundació Fluidra.

The main objective of FOC is to build up and promote culture, opera and symphonic music. By coming together and running cultural organizations as a business, the ultimate aim is to improve the efficiency of resources and speed up the project’s output in terms of quality and economic growth, until it becomes independent and sustainable.
